A fresh start

I have decided to move to a new blog here: http://ameliaherbertsonblog.blogspot.com. I wanted a fresh start and to have a blog that actually has my name in the url! I am going to be posting more often and I hope you will visit me and follow me over here!

Weekend

I spent my weekend outside in the winter sunshine with the dogs, looking forward to warmer weather. I hope you had a good weekend!

Studio update

I've been working on some custom orders for monogram initial artworks. It's nice to know they are going to lovely homes. I have added a few more of these original artworks to my shop! Custom orders are welcome!

Postcards

The postcards I ordered arrived last week! I wanted just a little something extra for my lovely Etsy and Madeit customers, so will be including one of these in all my packages along with a stamped thank you gift tag and hand written note.

Some new things

New Thank You tags made with hand carved stamps, for my lovely Etsy and Madeit customers.



And my new logo stamp. I really love it, especially when I stamp it onto textured white cardstock or kraft paper. I am a paper/stationery nerd.

My Mother's Things

I am a hoarder, my mother is a hoarder and her mother was a hoarder. As a result my parents house is filled with beautiful old knick knacks and things. Pictured are vintage wooden soldier skittles and a wooden toy dog on wheels, my Great Grandfathers cigar tins and old books, and a collection of broken shards of china and ceramics found in the backyard when gardening. I'm lucky to have such sentimental family members who hold on to these things.
